Manuel Antonio national park

The central pacific coast of this incredible country offers a large variety of breathtaking panoramas. One of the most famous destinations on this shore is Manuel Antonio Beach, a quaint town that will make you feel right at home.

Manuel Antonio Costa Rica is situated approximately 100 miles from San Jose, our capitol city and lies a mere 5 miles from the nearest port city of Quepos.

Manuel Antonio’s history is as colorful as its tropical panorama. Legends of pirates, lost treasure and old maps have left their mark on the local culture. There are also visible traces of the ancient pre-Colombian societies that once lived here.

Tidal turtle traps can be found along the shoreline, these traps were carved from rock centuries ago, and during high tides turtles swam over the trap, and then the tides dropped catching them in these basins.
