Scope of our policy of Sustainability

This policy involves all employees of the company, regardless of hierarchical level or job functions, both fixed and temporary.

This policy also involves suppliers, customers, community and any person or entity that somehow relates to the activities of the company within the scope of this policy.

Objective

• Promote the development and growth of the company, through commitment to the protection of the environment in which it operates, meaning both the natural resource environment, and social and cultural rights.
• To promote environmental and cultural education for visitors using the services provided by the company.
• That employees gain an awareness of sustainable use, through education and constant updating on issues of sustainability in the medium and long term periods.
• Designing operating policies that seek a rational and sustainable use of natural and socio-cultural resources that are available.

• The company along with their employees, maintain an attitude of conservation, protection and education in the use of natural resources and socio-cultural areas where it develops its tourism operations, to ensure their sustainability in the medium and long term, through a quest for continuous improvement and involvement in community and state proposals that adhere to their mission and vision.
• As a company, we declare our commitment to avoid any mining or marketing of flora and fauna forbidden by law.
• All workers will be trained in the policies of sustainability of the company, both fixed and temporary, as well as new and existing employees of the company's will be trained in operational and administrative issues of their job to ensure good performance.

• We defend and protect our children and adolescents from sexual exploitation and prostitution. Report any illegal activity that we are aware of, and educate our employees, suppliers and customers on this issue.

• We promote a healthy work environment free of illegal drugs. Our activities are geared toward family enjoyment, which is why we will report any consumer activity and / or marketing of such substances that we know of to the appropriate authorities, regardless

• As a company operating guided tours to places of interest and adventure, we will select those places which meet the conditions for sustainability, such as programs for the conservation of living cultures from the area, plans for the protection of flora and fauna species and offer the visitor a complete Costa Rican experience.
• Our guides are certified in accordance with our laws, and will keep you updated on the various technical issues of equipment use, emergency maneuvers, natural and cultural attractions of the areas visited by our customers, legal issues and any other areas of relevance to the company to continue operating with a sustainable approach.


• All tourism activities operated by the company, will offer promotional fares for domestic visitors, with the aim of giving preference to them in the enjoyment and participation of the conservation of our areas of operation.

• For each tourism activity offered an operational manual will be provided and that in addition to technical and other aspects, indicate the number of customers-tourists each guide will be able to attend, as well as if assistance is needed. In all cases we handle small groups to avoid affecting the natural environment of the areas visited.
• All of our terrestrial and aquatic vehicles, and equipment for tourism activities will have a personal blog that will take detailed records related to its maintenance and revision to ensure compliance with our laws and above all that customers will be protected by its proper use.

• We do NOT artificially feed the animals. In addition, we discourage that our customers do so, explaining the reasons why it is counterproductive to feed them.
• We support the conservation of archaeological and cultural heritage. For this reason, we avoid and report any activity of which we have knowledge, aimed at the extraction and marketing of parts or archaeological and cultural heritage, to the appropriate bodies.
• We met with our legislation, and are in favor of the 7600 law on equal opportunities for individuals with disabilities, so we will not discriminate in our recruitment of staff, and treat all potential employees equally. The best candidate will be hired to fulfill the functions of specific jobs, provided they possess the required qualifications, and when their disability does not pose a health or safety risk for the same worker or our customers.
