Our Reserve extends over 10 hectares of primary
and secondary forest, and is home of many species of interesting
plants, like cocoa trees, cedar, balsam, guapinol, avocado,
ferns, citrus grass or vanilla, and others.
Birds like toucans, macaws, tanagers, black
guans, and flycatchers live here, and we might also find caimans,
Fer-de-Lance, and Bocaracá vipers, common frogs and other
reptile species.
On our well posted and secure trails, we will
reach different outlook points providing panoramic views on
the Savegre River area and the beautiful landscapes of Manuel
Antonio Park area, a hanging bridge spanning 127 meters above
the river canyon, and two waterfalls of exuberant beauty with
swimming holes for a refreshing deep after the hike.
